CEO of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority Inaugurates 28th Edition Bahrain’s Autumn Fair 2017
Delegated by H.E. the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Mr. Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani, the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Humoud Al Khalifa inaugurated Bahrain’s twenty-eighth edition of the Autumn Fair 2017, organized by Arabian Exhibition Management and held at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
The Autumn Fair 2017 is considered one of the largest consumer exhibitions in the region, giving visitors an opportunity to browse and shop under one roof, and it contains a wide variety of diverse products from all around the world. The fair covers 15,400 square meters, and enjoys the participation of 750 local and international businesses from 20 countries for a period of nine days up to February 2nd, 2017.
On this occasion, the CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa stated: “We are delighted to be opening this year’s edition of the annual fair, which showcases multiple businesses from across the region and the world and promoted the Kingdom of Bahrain as an ideal destination for holding exhibitions and conferences. This event is considered as a key advantage for all sectors of the Kingdom.”
He added: “This outstanding exhibition attracts visitors from Bahrain and neighboring countries, as it offers many business opportunities for local traders and business owners to enter into commercial partnerships with regional and international companies.”
The exhibition includes pavilions from countries such as China, Egypt, India, Kuwait, Lebanon, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand, Syria, UAE, Yemen to name a few. This year’s exhibition also features a wide range of goods including specialized food, clothing, home furniture, technology, toys, textiles and other unique merchandise.
